How to use it

  1. Paste your class list in the Entries box, one name per line, and press Save to keep it in the Saved tab.
  2. Spin the wheel: the student who comes up leaves the wheel until everyone has had a turn.
  3. When the wheel is empty, press Start a new round. The Results tab lists who was picked and when.

Fair for the whole class

Nobody is picked twice in a round and nobody is forgotten: the wheel only shows the students who are still waiting for their turn. The order is random, decided by your browser’s secure random generator.

One wheel per class

Give each class its own wheel: paste the list, write the class name in Wheel title under Settings, and press Save. At the start of the lesson, open the right class from the Saved tab. Each class keeps its own round, so the next lesson starts with the students who have not had a turn yet.

Questions and answers

Does the wheel remember who has been picked?

Yes. The names already picked stay off the wheel in this browser, even if you close the page, until you press Start a new round.

Can I put a student back on the wheel?

Yes. Type the name again in the Entries box. To put back everyone who has been picked, press Start a new round, or Put them back in the Results tab.

Is the class list sent anywhere?

No. Your lists stay in your own browser and are never sent to our servers.
